SWANGO MAINE is the primary name of 3 businesses located on the Kennebec River in rural Maine, USA. Everything is hand done with love & attention to detail and flavor.
SWANGO DESIGNS
Swango Designs provides custom garments, fashion jackets and handbags. We provide an affordable alternative to off-the-rack clothing for women and limited men's clothing. Most garments are made using off-the-bolt fabrics and styles that are comfortable vs. trendy. Some designs include pieces of previously loved garments carefully remade and hand finished with exquisite details which include vintage fabrics and buttons, retro styles and interesting embellishments. Men's fashions include holiday & theme prints neckties, cotton workman's scull caps, and PJ pants.
Unless specified, all garments are machine wash/dryable.
SWANGO DÉCOR
Swango Decor is the second of three businesses and offers home decorating ideas. The decorative clay wall masks with flamboyant Maine personality stories are popular items. Hand painted greeting cards are done on handmade paper and inserted as framed art into fine stationery blank greeting cards. Sewn items include kitchen accessories, stained glass windows, toss pillows & cushions and decorative, quilted or holiday wall hangings.
SWANGO GOURMET
Swango Gourmet is the third of three businesses. In addition to retro style aprons, chef BBQ aprons, hot pads & oven mitts and place mats & napkins, we offer savory organic herb jellies & vinegars with a new cookbook in the works. Recipes accompany each jar or bottle at this time!
Please keep in mind Swango is a small business which produces limited editions and unique pieces including the batches of jellies & vinegars. If, when ordering, you discover the quantity is zero, please understand this item can be "custom ordered", meaning you simply e-mail Swango and place your order directly, requesting the item in the color, size, quantity and/or flavor you wish. We will answer each individual request and begin a dialogue about the product you wish to order. We can usually ship for you within two weeks.
